Turn up the Heat! These Are Our Favorite Ways to Add Warmth to Your Home in the Cold Winter Months

If you’re anything like me, I feel like my home is a little bare and cold after I take all of my holiday decor down.  The cooler weather and grey skies can also make your home feel chilly, so take a peak at a few of our favorite ways to warm your home up and give it a little face lift for the New Year.

It may be cold and dreary outside, but that doesn’t mean it has to be inside! This time of year in the North West, we all tend to crave a little extra warmth and comfort to come home to. One thing that can really make a difference with this in your home is drapery! Not only does it help a little with insulation, but it’s a great way to add color and warmth to a space, and soften that cool winter light. Whether you use a sheer fabric to filter the light, or a bold fabric to make a statement, drapery can create everything from subtle elegance to drama in any space, while bringing focus to the interior space instead of what’s beyond the window. Be sure to ask us about options for throw pillows too, as we can even order them in fabrics that will match, or coordinate with your draperies.  Adding drapery and a few toss pillows is a great way to make any space nice and cozy!
